DistCalc On Its Way to 2K Downloads

The DistCalc app is fast approaching two thousand downloads, which puts me back into the black. I’ve been slowly putting together the design requirements for the next version (including an iPad HD version). It’s been slow going though…

One thing of note: I have been impressed with the customer feedback. Almost all of it positive. The interesting thing about getting customer feedback on a consumer product (versus the feedback you get from a B2B application), is the personal attachment they seem to have to the feature/function set of the app. Meaning they really feel like the app was written specifically for them, even if they are far from the original target market. Maybe I just need help in selecting my markets It has spurred some creative thinking sessions on what to include and what to wait on.

Me and Taylor fell into some great hockey seats last night. Even better, they were giving out scary masks at the door. We probably could have turned around and gone home at that point and Taylor still would have had a great night.

TeddyBear Park – Stillwater

Last Day of Baseball!

Taylor just finished up his last b-ball game of the season. The progress of those kids was just amazing.

After the game we went to DQ with some of his teammates. They had a blast trying to get people to honk as they passed by. When someone would actually honk they would all cheer like they just won the World Series. It’s those small victories in life that make you happy I guess?

Last week the PM team took the lightrail down south to a place called Caps. They have some amazing BBQ at this place.

While this sandwich looks like a mess, it tasted unbelievably wonderful! Probably around 300 calories?

Camping – Cannon Falls

Joined the Gundbergs down in one of the county campgrounds south of Eagan. Both Conner & Lilly joined us for the one night adventure.

The kids really enjoyed the beach…although clean up was a pain. Lots of sand to be shaken out of the tent this morning.

Have to leave early to help Dubois move into their cabin this afternoon.

Vegas

Had to be in Vegas this week for work. Only got out on the town one night, but it was great weather and ended up being very relaxing.

I also didn’t leave much money here in Vegas, which always makes me feel like a winner ( I have no idea what it would feel like to actually go home with a profit ).
